The Mosaic Processor and Anonymizer are joining Mosaic’s suite of processing, visualization, and analysis tools. The hardware quality you’ve come to expect from Mosaic extends to our software line as well. You’ll find intentionally designed solutions that work specifically for our mobile mapping systems’ data output. Deliver quality output without sacrificing speed and flexibility.
Our commitment to flexible workflows isn’t going anywhere! You can easily integrate Mosaic’s hardware and software in conjunction with 3rd party tools you already know and trust. Mix and match tools and use only what you need without any vendor lock-in.

The Mosaic Processor
The Mosaic Processor, affectionately called “MoPro” for short, allows you to seamlessly transform source data into geo-referenced 360° panoramic images. It is designed specifically for Mosaic’s line of cameras, ensuring professional-grade results and a smooth integration into your projects.
MoPro’s top features include:
- Fast stitching backend, efficiently utilizing the graphics processing unit (GPU)
- Local installation and processing
- Integrated LiDAR processing tools (when applicable, i.e. Mosaic Xplor)
- An integrated point cloud viewer
- Optional integrated panorama anonymization
- Compatibility with Windows (Linux support available)
The Mosaic Processor greatly simplifies working with Mosaic mobile mapping system data. You are just a couple of clicks away from providing input data and getting the results you want. Its core capabilities include:
- Reviewing all 6 camera feeds in sync
- Embedding metadata based on internal GNSS or external devices automatically
- Outputting equirectangular JPEGs with embedded latitude, longitude, and altitude EXIF data
- Extracting single-frame images for further processing
- Validating and recovering data due to field errors
In addition, if you are working with the Mosaic Xplor 360 backpack camera, the Mosaic Meridian product line, or other devices with LiDAR, you can enjoy trajectory parsing (panoramic poses from LiDAR) and automatic batch processing.
The Mosaic Anonymizer
Data privacy is a crucial current topic across most industries and countries. Legislation like the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or South Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) require individual consent for the publishing of sensitive personal data and mass anonymization when individual consent is practical.
For public-facing use, many countries have strict regulations on what personal data is made available in street-view imagery. Most often, this refers to individuals’ faces and license plates. To meet these legal requirements, a bonus add-on to MoPro is the Mosaic Anonymizer.
The Mosaic Anonymizer detects and blurs this sensitive data, such as faces and license plates, to keep users legally compliant and protect individuals’ privacy. It leverages native sensor geometry and resolution to maximize detection accuracy, even in challenging lighting and viewing angles. AI detection models are fine-tuned on native 12K+ resolution imagery for superior face and license plate detection. The Mosaic Anonymizer handles large data volumes commonly associated with street-view image capture.
