We continue our annual tradition, and this time with two new mobile mapping systems on display.
For INTERGEO 2026, Mosaic joined over 530 other exhibitors and 18,000 visitors from 120 countries in Munich, Germany. This marks Mosaic’s sixth year at the world’s largest geospatial technology event, where we brought 8 team members from several sales regions.

Justin Katz, Mosaic’s Sales Account Executive for North America, had this to say about his time at INTERGEO:
“INTERGEO is always a good snapshot of where the geospatial industry is headed, especially because there was a lot happening around reality capture, mobile mapping, LiDAR and AI this year. For me, the best part of events like these are the conversations and getting to see what people across the industry are building.”

The Mosaic booth also took on a new look this year. A bigger floorplan, more display tables, and several large monitors helped visitors see not only our mobile mapping systems, but the types of visual outputs that are possible with the data.
“We had very good feedback on the quality of our Gaussian Splats, which stems from how heavily we invest into our hardware. Our philosophy of ‘high-quality inputs make high-quality outputs’ really shows at events like INTERGEO where we can display a variety of possible datasets and visuals for visitors.”
-Lynn Puzzo, Director of Sales and Marketing at Mosaic
In his pre-INTERGEO LinkedIn post featuring Mosaic-captured data, Esri’s Global Lead for ArcGIS Reality & Reality Mapping Capabilities, Arkadiusz Szadkowski, added to the conversation about Gaussian Splatting:
“With LiDAR-driven Gaussian Splats, you get the best of many worlds. From the air and from the ground brought together into one coherent layer.”
The data in this post was available for INTERGEO attendees on the ESRI booth.

For the sales team, it was never a dull moment. Having the entire Mosaic lineup of products on the booth and ready for demonstrations kept the conversation out of the theoretical and into the practical.
This was especially true when it came to the specific data outputs that are possible with mobile mapping systems. These include a variety of outputs like 3D meshes, colorized point clouds, digital twins, and of course, Gaussian Splats.
“What really stood out for us was visitors’ interest around our Gaussian Splatting work. It feels like we’re a bit ahead of the curve there. People were genuinely curious about how we’re achieving such high fidelity and, more importantly, what they can actually do with it.”
Double Trouble: Meridian 2 and Xplor SC
If you had the chance to stop by our booth, you may have seen we had two new mobile mapping systems on display this year: Meridian 2 and Xplor SC.
Meridian 2
Meridian 2 is our next generation MMS featuring the Mosaic X 13.5K 360° camera with survey-grade LiDAR and INS. It is even more compact than the original, and fits into just two bags that can be checked onto a plane as luggage. It is designed for lean crews and data capture projects where time is of the essence.
“The Meridian 2 has big market potential. It is the only 360° panoramic and LiDAR system you can pack into two small bags. Where it really shines is transportability, asset capture, and ease of use. It is a much cleaner, more user-friendly solution, and that makes it easier for decision-makers to have confidence their team can handle and operate it.”
–Grayson Omans, Founder and former CEO of Phoenix LiDAR

“Having two new products to debut, Meridian 2 and Xplor SC, was a big hit for this year’s event. Visitors liked the form factor, ease of use, and portability of both systems. Being able to see them in-person really drives home just how lightweight and portable this technology is.
Visitors especially liked getting to try on our shoulder-cam model, Xplor SC, for themselves. Attending INTERGEO this year gave us that much-needed opportunity for visitors to try it on in-person and get the experience of what the data capture process will look and feel like.”
-Lynn Puzzo
Xplor SC
Xplor SC (for “shoulder cam”) is our newest iteration of the Xplor– now more ergonomic to easily go where you need to capture data. It is the latest technology for building World Models and AGI.

Robotics does not have a large corpus of training data the way that LLMs do with written language. This is all training data that will need to be collected. However, embodied intelligence requires embodied data. Xplor SC fills that role by capturing high-resolution, geo-referenced data at human scale.
When Mosaic CEO, Jeffrey Martin, debuted the Xplor SC at 3Dise this year, he said in his speech,
“It’s shaped like a body, because the body is the best shape, and it’s great for capturing data at the human scale… We can build a thousand of these and walk around and capture synchronized, multimodal, multisensor data that can produce the amazing Gaussian Splats I showed you earlier. But it’s with the idea that this could be part of building large datasets that can help solve the next chapter of AI.”
Meeting old and new friends
“INTERGEO is always a good chance for us to come and mingle with our friends, colleagues, and even our competitors, to see where the market is trending. Hearing what people are talking about and the solutions they’re looking for is what really drives our planning for the year ahead.”
-Lynn Puzzo

“The best part of these events for me is getting to meet face-to-face with partners and customers who we are often just speaking to over video call and email. That in-person element is important to strengthening our collaborations, especially in this digital age we’re living in.”
-Jeffrey Martin, CEO of Mosaic
